Belarus to host Days of Culture of Tajikistan in 2026
The head of the diplomatic mission emphasized that cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries continues to gain momentum.
“In November 2024, the Days of Culture and Belarusian Cinema were held in Dushanbe. Preparations are currently underway for the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in Belarus this year. It is very important that the Days will take place in the year as the countries celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations,” the ambassador noted.
He also emphasized that the parties pay special attention to cooperation in the field of education and personnel training, which contributes to the further deepening and expansion of bilateral ties. “Cooperation in education serves as an important element of humanitarian interaction, forming a solid foundation for long-term partnership, strengthening mutual understanding, and training a new generation of specialists focused on the development of Tajik-Belarusian relations,” the head of the diplomatic mission noted.
In his opinion, a good example of the progressive development of interaction was the launch of the Center for the Belarusian Language and Innovative Technologies at Tajik National University in September 2023. This center is designed to promote deeper language training, academic exchanges and modern educational technologies. Importantly, rectors of higher education institutions from the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus meet regularly and sign bilateral agreements and joint action plans aimed at expanding inter-university cooperation, developing research and academic mobility.
“I particularly want to emphasize that over these three decades we have maintained a high level of mutual understanding and also given our relations a new quality that meets contemporary challenges and development objectives. I am convinced that the accumulated positive experience of interaction serves as a solid foundation for further deepening strategic cooperation for the benefit of the peoples of our countries,” the Ambassador stressed.
